VRP turbo upgrade M278

Hey all,

CLS owner but I feel I'll get more engagement in here. I'm looking at the VRP turbo upgrade as opposed to M157 turbo swap due to ease of installation and potential cost benefits. Anyone done this swap?

I'm looking for info such as are the stock M278 fuel pumps sufficient to fuel the upgraded turbos? I already know I'll need a retune, just trying to collect a real world picture of the complete cost. I can ask VRP themselves and I will, but vendors tend to paint rosey "best case" scenarios when it comes to supporting mods that may shrink sales.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Austin

The stock fuel pumps are fine for upgraded 278 turbos.

That's refreshing! The spool options more than double the cost, so it's good to know this will give me what I want without flirting with lean conditions.

Do you have any customer reviews on this upgrade? I haven't seen any on the net.

Thanks!
