Adaptive headlight mailfunctioning

Hello guys!

I drive 350cdi 4matic 2010 and recently I noticed that it lost a high-level sensor rod on the front left side. I just double-checked the part number of the sensor that I currently have there and ordered the same used one to take the rod from it. But seems the rod is too short because the front lights are lighting literally down, I can see only a few meters in front of the front bumper at night. The part number of the sensor I have ordered is A0065428318 and my VIN is WDD2120931A364449

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix it, adapt the adaptive headlight, or order another rod replacement?

Well, buy a new sensor complete with the correct rod length is the safest bet.
If you want to experiment to verify your sensor is OK, manually play with it and see if the light beam spread goes up or not.
For all you know, you may have a defective sensor and is not sending height information to the computer controlling the beam height.
You seems to be focused on mechanical issue, the rod link. Best to verify, electrically too
