Can main battery cause the error message auxiliary battery malfunction
Hello everyone I have MB e350 w212 2012 I just bought the car and I have noticed some odd errors like distronic plus inoperative and then it work again and auxiliary battery malfunction error so I tested my car battery and here is the test results seems that it need to be replaced so I was wondering can the main battery cause the auxiliary battery malfunction error or I need also to replace the auxiliary battery

I'd hook up a charger to that battery, leave it charging overnight, then have it tested again. 12.34V is only 60% charged, and those tests work best on a fully charged battery.
It is worth putting a charger on both batteries, but if either are over 5 years old I'd replace them and save yourself future hassles of error messages. I nursed my main battery along with occasional charging and it lasted about 6 years. In hindsight I should have saved myself the hassle and just replaced it.
