W212 e300 4 matic

W212 E300 4 matic

Does anybody know, if the amg rims 19×8 et43 tire size 245 40 r9 will fit my w212 e300 4 matic!
I ran currently 20×9 et36 tire size 245 30 r20 front and rear

I don’t see why they wouldn’t fit with that mild ET and the 245/40 standard tires.

I did read in some of the forms here, and some guys are saying, they might rub on the struts

Your stock ET is 48, correct? 43 ET is moving away from the struts, so how do you have strut tower interference? My rear wheels are 9-1/2” wide with a 52ET! Plus a 285 wide tire. If anyone should be rubbing on the struts it would be me. Unless your car is not a W212, or you have some crazy rear suspension mods going on, you should be fine.

I thought if the ET gets bigger, then the rims get closer to the struts and so on. Unless I miss understood something, I never check the ET on the stock rims and I sold them already

No, it is the opposite. As the number goes down as in 43<48, the wheel moves outward.
Yes, as the ET NUMBER gets bigger it moves the wheel inward, but that’s not what you have going here.
