anyone running HDEO in their turbo benz?
I have a number of diesels, both on and off road, and have had a number of motorcycles, again on and off road, and I've found that rather than the boutique oils sold, you actually can get a Better oil by going to a HDEO... So for my M278 it calls for a 5w 40, which just happens to be a popular HDEO synthetic weight oil, and they are usually having a very robust add-pack...
Coming up on an OCI and just was musing on why (for my year) should I not try, say Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5w 40? Maybe Rotella T6? Thoughts?????????????

I would stick with the recommended MB Approved 229.5 oils, such as Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5W40.
