Bad stabilizer boots
This is 2nd W212 I own and 2nd time I have to deal with deteriorated boots on stabilizer links.
W212 is having ball joints on the links, who require grease and boot shielding.
I never had problem with MB joint boots younger than 30 years, so this part stinks on W212 and the OE links are not cheap, when I can't find boots sold separately.
The boots are press-on with plastic ring, so not difficult for DIY replacement, yet we are forced to spend money on whole assemble.
Would anybody found a source for boots, please post it here.
