Hey guys! This is my first post here so forgive me if it's not very clear!
I own a Mercedes W212(2010) E350 4Matic for almost 9 years now.
A bit of history. A few days back I was at a car wash and they washed my car and my trunk. Since the weather is not too hot it was wet for a couple of days even tho I was trying to ventilate it as much as possible.
Two days after the wash my clock just stopped working. I don't know if this is related, but I guess it might have something to do with the car being wet.
I can't set the time through COMAND - it's greyed out. The analogue clock is updating to the correct time every time I start the car, but after that, the clock is not working.
It doesn't matter if the car is turned on or off, the time is not being measured.
The digital clock is not even showing on the upper left screen of the display, where it's supposed to be.
I was trying to figure out if there's some fuse that might have gone bad or something that controls the clock but without any luck.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can check myself before driving it to a service?
No fuse, check CAN connector @ left front door sill area for moisture/corrosion. If fine, you will need someone to clear/pull codes preferably using Xentry (MB diagnostics).
