Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Removal - fan ran full speed/issue resolved

2012 E550
issue - when I started the car, the fan ran full speed like a turbine.

Problem resolved - it was the refrigerant pressure sensor. Put a new one in and issue resolved.

Notes:
- the Freeon does empty out so it needs to be refilled
- front driver side bumper needed to be loosened to get to the part.
- some pictures below, front grill and front radiator bracket needed to be removed to push the radiator back

Part location

Wooden block to crate a bit more room to open the sensor

Tool used to open the sensor

Yes if that is indeed your sensor location ..........
But my E400 does not have B12 pressure sensor as per your diagram/location.

Before removal of plastic cover under the radiator + condensor

With the said plastic cover removed. See no B12 Refrigerant Sensor on my "block".

Maybe my sensor is close to the condensor but me was not focusing on it for the bumper removal.
I was installing LED auxillary light under the licence plate.

Appreciate the pictures and details. E550 must be a different setup then the E400.

I think this diagram is my 550 and its part number 14

E400 must be this one with part highlighted.

Thanks will take the bumper out and get to the part.
