Has anyone rebuilt an air spring ?

I just noticed that it's possible to purchase just the bellows (boot) for a fraction of the cost for a complete air spring.

The bellows is just a dust seal right ? In other words, it's not possible to rebuild an air spring, right ?

After destructively removing a rear air spring, I see no way that the inner bag could be replaced.
