Bluetooth problems with my e63
I own a 2010 e63 amg and i can connect my iPhone xs through Bluetooth after activating it through the secret menu but with music it cuts in and out all the time i have no idea how to fix it i heard that you can move your phone away from the head unit but that doesn't work I've tried to disconnect and reconnect and tried restarting the system multiple times does anyone know what I can do I'm probably going to install carplay and just use the aux input that those kits come with and hope that that fixes the annoying cuts in audio

If you have a USB jack or SD Card slot, you'd likely be much better off using one of those for your music. Save your phone for phone calls. That's what I do. I have my music on a card and also transferred it to the Music Register (HDD). I suspect the Music Register is dropping the last half of some songs when they are quiet relaxing ones. Doesn't seem to happen with the SD Card.

You need a firmware update at the dealer. My 2011 E350 did the same thing, it was fine after the firmware update. Make sure when you take it in to tell them that the audio cuts out not that you just want a firmware update. They only update it to fix a known problem. Fix my Sirius cutting in and out also.

Issue fixed
Incase anyone needs it i ended up buying a bovee 3000b from ebay for like $35 just plugged into the aux and the bluetooth no longer cuts out and personally i think it sounds better than the stock bluetooth that comes with the car definitely a cheaper option over just installing apple carplay

edit: oh my phone is a Pixel 6a, and my wife use a Pixel 6 Pro, with equally good results. its primarily her car.
