Rear climate control option

Hi everyone, so I'm wondering if the rear climate control was an option on US W212 V8 models (standard on W211) - seems like in Canada many E550s have it, while I can't find a single one with it in the States. Any info on this (not particularly important) question?

EDIT: had a second question, actually. W/S211 has Airmatic all around, do the V8 W212s only have it on the rear wheels?

the 212 /wagons/ come with airmatic self leveling in the rear only... the V8 sedans often have full airmatic with the dynamic shocks. They really are two different systems.

note every wagon since at least as far back as the 123 had self leveling rear suspension, in the 123 and 124 it was hydropneumatic, airmatic was a cheaper-to-build system that came later.
