I know it's not what you want to see, but saving for an upgraded Android unit, is a lot better than getting an update. By today standards the in car navi is hard to use, and cumbersome. Nowadays the dealer may not even update the maps, as it takes a bay down to keep a car charged, plus the price of the upgrade. In my opinion, not worth it.

@BenzNinja Can confirm Benzninja helped me with a token to allow me to swap out my weird one of a kind Japanese Only market NTG 4.5 to a UK NTG 4.5 and he was able to update and convert the GPS to use Australian Maps in the unit for my home country, 10/10 great job, you won't be disappointed and he has many software updates and tricks to make your E550 much better also.
