iSoft 3 question

thanks!
Resetting transmission to erase driving habits doesn't require a scanner. You can do that accelerator pedal hold thing and it'll do the same.

I'm not entirely sure the gas peddle trick works on the new 2020 GLS like it does on the 212. Also not sure it does a full 100% reset across all modulars in the system. That's what I would like the ability to do with a scanner. Reset things. Tell it that it has a new battery, see operating temps, that sort of stuff. I know the car will tell me some of this, but would be nice to get a bit more precise reading whenever I wanted one. Knock on wood, I don't get many error lights (can't remember the last time I ever saw a check engine light in any of my cars), but would like to know the "deal" if I do before heading off to the shop.
Basically it's time for me to have a bit more technical understanding of our two MB's and thinking a scanner would help. Not willing to spend in excess of $400 on one though. Anything that requires that level of service, is going to be out of my hands.

Someone else feel free to correct...
