Guys,

Those of you unlucky dudes owning M276 3.0 Turbo ( myself included ), be warned that our ECM wiring schematic is not giving us full information on what wires are twisted pairs.
To learn why wires are twisted, simply put : it is signal integrity and electrical noise reduction. Twisting wire is cheap.
The best wire of course is shielded and twisted, example ethernet cable. I read some cars uses this better wire, but I have not seen of its use in my W212

Now, I hope on your M276.9 3.5NA the wire colors of white is not misleading like my "so-called-white" color of injectors wire. Tell me if you see the WHITE as white ?
Looks like mild pink to me, that WHITE










Okey dokey........ when you guys do repair, please make note of what component uses twisted wires and if you replace them do also uses twisted wires.
M276.8 3.0 TT boys, use M276.9 3.5NA wiring diagram as reference to find the twisties.

Attached the ECM wiring of both engines.
