Just started getting code P222D12 Pressure sensor 2 from my OBD scanner and am trying to clarify what's at fault. Google searching has led me to either MAP sensors, which are pretty cheap, or something to do with the wastegates, no so cheap. Any input is greatly appreciated.

 

The D12 is, I suppose, position sensor D. It has more than one in there uc, likely to verify against each other so it knows when one is bad.
So I suppose a new gas pedal in on the horizon. There are many posts here about them failing, and replacing them. I've never seen one about fixing it. Maybe it's an easy fix, or just needs cleaning. If mine ever goes I will be opening it up for a look-c.
