E400 - M276 3.0 Turbo, AC refrigerant pressure sensor not at friendly location
Sharing.............
So, if you own this 3.0 turbo engine on W212 , would be facelift model for sure, you are not as lucky as other model with VERY EASY refrigerant pressure sensor access.
Other W212 has its refrigerant sensor under the condenser, so no need to remove bumper + yada yada.
So easy a location
While on ours............mine...........
I will replace the pressure sensor and 3 hoses + filter drier in late July , for preventive maintenance and good night sleep for the next 9-10 years.
So I slowly look into what tear-down I would need for this work.
TO NOTE :
For W212 of any engine variants, the MB WIS does not have the supporting documents for these tasks : ( You can look at WIS till February 31st, you will not find it....why ? I don't know )
01. Remove and install AC compressor
02. Remove and install AC condenser.
All other task, documentation is complete, even for evaporator and the gang to the smallest temperature sensors.
Let's hope Uncle Murphy doesn't pay you M276 3.0 turbo owners a visit by the 10 to 12th Bday of your car.

I switched mine but I guess it was working fine.
I was able to reach it with several alternating size socket extensions (this allows you to come in at an angle) attached to a thin wall deep socket that fits the sensor size.
Detached the driver hood hinge for visibility.

Thank you for the tip Adi
Will keep that in mind.
However I will need to replace my drier pack too when I will replace the sensor as preventive.
I got them both already since last year
