Check brake pad warning light not resetting after brake service...
2011 S212 with a "check brake pad" warning light that came on at 115k miles. Worked on the brakes last weekend and started with the rears because the rear pads were worn down more than the fronts. While working on the right rear, noticed that the brake sensor wasn't worn through...the pads hadn't worn down to trip the sensor light...at this point I figured that the front brake sensor might have been the culprit for the tripped warning light. While working on the front brakes, noticed that the front wear sensor wasn't worn through either. Changed all four rotors, pads and new brake wear sensors. Drove approximately 25 miles since the brake service and the "check brake pad" warning light still comes on after driving. Checked all brake wear sensors and they are plugged securely and installed correctly on the new pads. Any other areas to check to track down what is causing the false warning? TIA

You probably have some wiring fault somewhere. The sensors are pretty simple, once they're worn away, you get an open circuit and when they're still intact it's closed. Probably simple to check with a meter on the resistance of the sensors. But your problem is probably somewhere between the wires and the connector to the sensors.
