Are the coils fake?

First time drinking the cool aid and ordered some parts on Amazon. These coils came beat to ****. Interesting they were sold and shipped by Amazon, not a 3rd party.

The label area looks more beat up than the coil tops on my car with 103k on them.

Thoughts? Do these look fake or perhaps they had just been in a parts bin for a decade?

Any witness marks (scratches) on the electrical connectors or bolt flanges? If so, I'd send 'em back.

Here's a few more pics, the plug connectors seem ok but a bit rough on plastic molding. One of the coils has some yellow goop on it

Send em back. They come in boxes, no reason to sit in a parts bin when ya can have them on the shelf stacked nicely.

Curious are they the same as https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=3809346 and
Amazon Amazon

Look a little different.

Did you buy them as new, or used?
I am bargain hunter and on amazon often buy what is listed as used, but in fact this is "open box" or return item. They often are sold with 30% discount.
Those can show shelf wear, but I usually order technical item, so cosmetics are not important.
But then, Delphi is not recommended parts builder.

Look like fakes, send them back. I've compared Amazon Genuine parts to Dealer parts and they were obvious fakes. Not saying you can't get real manufacture parts from Amazon, but beware of 3rd party fakes. You can buy fakes From RockAuto too, but most are the genuine article, so do your homework and verify everything.

These were purchased as new from Amazon. I have Delphi coils on my car and the tops are tan color. I also checked out some of the coils at AutoZone and they look like they are much better quality than these ones.

Returning them to Amazon and going to buy real ones from a legit supplier.

This is the link to the ones I purchased so don't buy these, Delphi GN10235 Plug Top Coil
