2009 W212 E250 CDI OM651 engine misfire
Hi,
I'm having trouble with a misfire on my 2009 W212 E250 CDI sedan. It consistently happens in 1st gear when the engine is cold at ~1700rpm.
I have run 2 tanks of injector cleaner and nothing has changed.
Does anyone have any advice on this issue? Is it a common issue with this engine?
Thanks

Fill up your profile, so we know what model you drive.
You have OM651 engine, but in version that was never sold in USA, where most of the members are from.
Than get a scanner, who can read MB.
Lastly we do have designated diesel section, where owners of the same engine in different models can add their comments.

Codes, mileage on car. Have you noticed decreased fuel mileage on your commute. Happens only when cold correct, when you leave the car warm say at grocery store when restart does it do it as well or just first thing in morning?
Can you describe the misfire. Unfortunately if its got a DPF and possible SCR system you cant get a feel for injector issues by sight. If it was a straight pipe ya could get some good indications of unburnt fuel, over fueilng, oil and or coolant leaking into cylinder.
For instance my truck (different diesel) has a slight oring leak at one of the valves, it will drain a small amount of oil into a cylinder if it sits more than a few hours. On startup it isnt as smooth as it should be until it burns off the oil which shows up as bluish white smoke on startup. One of these days Ill fix that probably.
