HVF

I have a 2011 E350.W212. The drivers side headrest popped open this week. I tried to reset it, but looks like the plastic mount that holds it together has broken I tried to reest it but then looked behind it and found that the plastic bracket the-round pins snaps into has broken on both sides. Looks like a bad Mercedes design ides. Has anyone else had a similar problem and come up with a fix for it. I am thinking about about bypassing the pop out feature and jut tying it back together.
