Just had this bolt fall out of somewhere... Any ideas?
I'm doing some work and just as I am lifting the car I hear a bolt fall near the right side (if looking at the front/grill perspective) of the engine bay. I am not sure what it could be for, any ideas will help me in my investigation, thanks!

It was on my tablet, so I can share it with you...the main document is in my PC back home and now me out of town till mid Jan 2024.
Bolts size ( the threaded shaft ) and its length is at the EPC linked I gave you. You never bother to read ??? Item #90 and #100, go and read it and tell me what u see ?
M8x16 and M8x25 , meaning bolt is M8 and tread length is 16mm and 25mm.
Go and buy a metric caliper and measuring tape when you deal with German /metric cars.
Your photo of the bolt, for sure the threaded shaft length ( I can't estimate its diameter or head size ) is a bit over 1/2" , so that is probably the 16mm one.
The code 8.8 on the bolt is a grade
