2014 Mercedes E550 4matic
2014 MB E550 4matic different tire size

Hi! Just recently bought my 2014 Mercedes E550 4matic. It has 19r wheels on it. The sticker on a driver’s door says that tire has to be 245/40R18 for both front and rear. I have the 245/35R19 for the front and 275/30R19 for the rear though. Will it affect the transfer case because of the different tire size, and the speed of front wheels will not match the speed of rear? I don’t have any ABS errors on a display.
Will attach a few photos of tires as now

For proper tire match you suppose to go to tire manufacturer site and find rpm for each tire.
General knowledge says you can have rpm mismatched by 3% before lights start flashing.
Usually CC is the first to act, disconnecting at 60 mph.

1.2% difference in diameter. for reference, the stock 2016 e63s tire sizes are 255/35/19 and 285/30/19, which is also a 1.2% difference in diameter.

those /30 and /35 tires likely have a VERY harsh ride on rough pavement, cracks, railroad tracks, etc.

When I acquired my E, I liked that I had 245s (like your fronts) all around. During brake pad maintenance, I discovered that the rims were staggered. This results in a similar situation to yours, non-identical rotation. No error codes.

I just repaired my front cracked rim. I think your sticker PSI listed is for 'heavy load' situations. I run MB 'normal' settings that are softer due to road conditions in my area. YMMV.
I like the fender badge and overall setup. Congrats.

You have about 7 mm difference in the diameter which isn't really significant enough to cause any problems. Whether running staggered tires on a 4matic makes sense from a dynamic stand point them it depends on how the central diff splits torque to be honest. I've heard that the E63 has a rear bias on the torque split so the car can drift. Maybe the E550 has a similar set-up. In any case, the car looks great with those wheels.

Is it okay if you just use the same wheel and tire for all 4 corners?
Also, spacers or not doesn't affect this right?
