Tire size for 18x9.5 Wheel

Hi everyone
A quick Google search produced this:

The minimum and maximum recommended tire width for a 9.5 wheel is 245 and 275, with 255 and 265 being ideal.

Just wanted to get your thoughts before I purchase. I consider you guys the kind of 'ultimate authority' if you will when it comes to my car.

Read a hundred posts all basically saying 19" wheels will somewhat reduce ride comfort, somewhat increase road noise, and that I'll have to be much more careful of potholes, all for a negligible aesthetic difference so I went with 18x9.5's

So 255-265/??-18

My 2015 E400 came with following staggered setup:

Front Tires - Wheel = 245/40/18 97V XL - 8.5Jx18 ET48
Rear Tires - Wheel = 265/35/18 97V XL - 9Jx18 ET54

Makes for crappy tire life since you cannot rotate.
Also, you need to ensure a proper Alignment (CAMBER) is spot on else the car will eat thru the tires inner edges before you even see wear on outer tread and up with air leaks. Ask me how I know.
