I know this has probably been done before but I couldn’t find an old thread to tag on to.
my old headlight ballast packed up.
i got a replacement second hand lamp and tried to fit it and code the ballast, it didn’t work.
i got a new non OEM ballast, fitted it and the warning lights have gone but also, the headlight no longer shows up in xentry.
this is all apart from the full beam and indicator - they can be found in xentry and they both work.
my questions are, for the new ballast, does it need coded or have I bought a dud.
same question really for the headlamp - could the led’s be dead and I have bought a dud for that?
if not, does anyone know how I can find the unit in xentry and if I can then code it?
