Is there a way in Vediamo or Xentry to set the sensitivity threshold for when the drls switch over to to "headlights on".

Not sure, but if you want headlights on, switch them to ON. They will turn off when you turn off your car.

I suppose in Sweden you have a good reason to wonder about this....
An idea would be to lightly shade the light sensor that tells the mains to illuminate, so they turn on sooner.
I have no idea how to do this, so good luck with your experiments...

You can always reach out to @BenzNinja . Nothing to lose in asking.
I believe that the auto lights threshold can be adjusted with Xentry. The SL community is much more involved in changing parameters through Xentry, and I recall seeing a discussion on this topic, back when I owned my SL550.
However, I can't begin to tell you where to find the setting.
