E350 Wagon passenger side shade issues

E350 Wagon passenger side shade issues
The rear seat window shade on one side of my E350 W212 wagon is slipping down into the cavity. In other words, the aperture is too wide, so the stop that is designed into the top of the shade is slipping through and not doing its job.
I'm surely not the first to experience this, but two questions. First, is the inevitable disassembly of the side panel to get to this mechanism a relatively easy job for a casual mechanic? And second, is it something that can be repaired or do I have to order an entire new assembly for the shade?
For now I've done a hack job by putting a strip of adhesive insulation in the widest part of the opening, which the shade stop kind of rests on.

Why is it often when people describe something like your are describing I mean mechanical stuff, they/you do not include a photo/s ?
If you want people to help you, words is not enough, pictures will be better.
While people love their instagram and facebook ( I do not have these two accounts and will not have them ) and upload photos
often for the sake of --xxx--xxx--- ( fill it up yourself ), why no photo/s along with this technical question ?
