Slow leak maybe about a tablespoon over a couple of days sitting.


Top down and from underneath the lines seem good.


Anyone seen a similar leak?


I just replaced a leaky radiator about 1 year ago.

Top of photo is front of car from underneath. Circled area is the slow drip and unsure where it might be coming from. Hoses look good from the bottom and the top.



Here is a detail where you can see the splatter area of the dried coolant

Get a radiator tester kit and pressurized the cooling system to 15 PSI.
Otherwise it is very difficult to trace.
2012 E63 is M156 or already M157 ? I think M157 yes ?

If M157 or M278 the turbo cooling system will leak and/or eventually break, for sure at this age. The plastic is the weak link

Is that plastic pipe too in your big red circle ? Image 2.


In between radiator and AC condenser should be the aftercooler heat exchanger, is there any of its hose-pipe using plastic ?
