Help, radiator grill problems. Need some advice
So i am in need of some help from you guys. I have a E-class W212 pre-facelift with distronic+ and due to vandalism they broke my front grill. I need a repacement but the stealer here wants around 1000€ for a new one. There are a lot of grills out there but none for a W212 with Distroonic+.
The facelift ones don't work since my sensor is on the bottom and the facelift ones are in the middle. There must be someone that already had the same problem, all the help is much apreciated.
I don't mind buying somewhere outside of Europe as long as the price is right and the shipping costs aren't higher then the part. I've seen on E-bay but they want more for shipping and most of the grills are broken.
MB part number is A2128800383(-9040)
Thanks guys
Beco

I have 2010 E550 with Distronic and I got the big star grille from them made for the Distronic radar sensor. Works very well.
Luckily, and with the help of some users, i had the full package on my W212 so i activated that. All will be repaired under insurance BUT there are no parts available, they have to come from Germany. Since my W212 is the "black edition" and not comercialized here it will take a bit longer.
As for participating to the insurance: i had to make a police report, had to be analised by an expert, from there it went to the insurance company that has to do a new inspection and accept the claim and only then i get a "green light" if all is according to their standards. No way to cut corners it's just the process. Now i am only waiting for the parts and to repair all.
Thanks for all the help.
Beco
