Just looking for some opinions on these..
As you all know getting the OEM covers are close to impossible..
I made these on a CNC Mill.
They are all Aluminum.Not sure if I should paint them or not..I'm also gonna make something close for the rear calipers also
I would try fly cutting the top face after engraving the Mercedes text. If you can't flycut that size in one pass with your machine, try using more coolant and/or updating your workholding to reduce the step between passes. Some other ideas: use a face mill to face the part in one pass, use a small bit and tiny stepovers to make the facing take forever, surface grind it, hit it with a belt grinder with a few grits to remove tool marks and give it a finish that you like, etc...

Actually that's a scuff mark from scotch Brite because I dropped the thing .The pictures were just a test fit..I made 6 sets to mess around with til I figure out the final look ..
I haven't really looked for any kind of font yet..The name was put on with a laser etcher...Im not trying to duplicate MB actual cover..Just want it to look good .I've made a lot of stuff for my car..Wheel spacers and end link mounts..
