Hey everybody and thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I’ll try to make it quick, but I’m just looking for ways around this cars music interface/Command Centre as being the only way to listen to my Spotify music again… I was aware of having to purchase the MI 3 pack cord for the Command centre and I did at one time have the aux cord but it is now gone and Mercedes-Benz no longer sells this at the dealership (Ontario GTA) at least the ones I called.- BUT, before I go to Amazon or marketplace for this cord that I use to plug in my in the glove box of my 2009 ML320 that I didn’t remember needing for this 2009 E300 please let me know if this this is the only way I would be able to listen to music again from Spotify? I’ve looked everywhere in the car for a secondary area for a plug but I am not seeing any. I use to drive this car years ago and never remembered having to do this before and my iPhone 4 would connect fine with my Bluetooth but now my command centre is apparently only allowing it to be synced via BT for the sole purpose of speaking on a phone and not being used for any music output at all. I have spent so much time trying to figure this out and am at a complete brick wall. I do know, Mercedes is one of those not one size fits all types of cars, but this cannot be the way to listen to music?! is it??? If anyone can share any other tricks they have found connecting their phones to the Bluetooth, I would sincerely appreciate that. My carpool Karaoke mic is starting to sound like a drill screwing 100 dull nails in my brain due to the lack of fm channels being made available these days…. It will not be sufficient for my sanity to continue on…. Thank you to everyone that has read my request and responded. I have a 2009 E300 (Avantgarde Sedan) if this helps. I believe the command centre said something like N2.5 but please don’t quote me on this because I am not able to find this anymore. I went to the dealership in 2014 and had them updated the Maps but unsure if that updates anything else….. again thank you!!!
