Locked door is opening from inside while driving
After some repairs on Steering rack and steering pump, locked door is opening from inside, it is 2010, E250. The lock system was perfectly working and was unable to open from inside if it is automatically locked while driving, recently I had to change the steering rack and power steering pump, after that I noticed that it is openable with all door handle from inside while driving. Is there any solution for this

Unable to open from inside maybe on another car brand or only for rear door with child protection enabled. On any MB the doors can and should be able to be open from inside in any situation.

Right. Any car I've driven in the last 20 years or so works like this. Doors always open from the inside, so passengers can easily get out and escape in an emergency. The only time they don't open from the inside is if the rear door child protection is enabled as said above. This reminds me of an Uber ride a while back. Driver told me the rear right door doesn't open anymore from the inside and that he hasn't had time to take it to a mechanic. So I showed him the child protection that was enabled. It blew his mind
