Mileage from DPF not in accordance with tacho

Hi guys, So I recently bought a 2014 w212 250 CDI euro 5 model (without ad blue), full car history seems legit from all sources I could check (anual techincal inspection and mileage from it up to this day, CarVertical, mileage from offical Mercedes-Benz service in which it was maintained for first 6 years, all recalls have been done according to them etc etc.). But my mechanic stumbled upon right about 100k km discrepancy from tacho on DPF module using Xentry... Now, since the everything I checked earlier checks out as I wrote before, is it possible that there was some kind of glitch or something that would cause such reading or the car DEFINITELY has tampered/rolled back mileage? One of the recalls was ECU remap from Mercedes-Benz i.e. Feel free to share any opinions and experiences! Thanks in advance, Karlo.

I have seen 30ish KM mileage data difference between modules and all are virgin modules, never been replaced.
If difference goes say a few thousand KM, maybe someone mess with the data.

Makes me think the car was a TAXI and they really rolled it back…

Is the paint pristine, I.e. did the car have a wrap on it from the beginning?

I don’t know what country you are in but in Germany taxis have the wrap that hides the true car color under it. Then wrap is removed when taxi service ends.

If it was a taxi you may be able to see the suction cup impression on the paint where the taxi sign was on the roof. Sometimes it leaves an imprint in paint thru the wrap as the suction cup is very close in the same place at all times.

In the EU the Taxi options are written in car Data Card - VIN number.

The exact 100K more mileage into the DPF history is more likely a wrong manipulation of a scanner - wrongly "reset data from DPF". The mileage manipulation on MB is very easy to be discovered.
