I was curious whether the car still has the power near its specs or not, (being a 15 year old car) so I dyno it. While at it I asked the tuner to tune the engine timings to 98RON since I always filled that (stock only tune for 95RON right)
Dyno results is good enough, stock still has 220hp. Then custom tune to 98RON makes it to 240hp on the dyno. Well 20hp gain not much but at least I know the engine still good enough for a 15 year old car. Still on stock air filter and exhaust.
Is the result a calculated flywheel HP or it is already on-wheel HP ? By figures it seems a calculated flywheel HP yes ?
Supposedly stock is 228HP at 6,000 RPM, flywheel.
this is calculated flywheel hp. If that thing on wheel hp my car will be much fun to drive
Emission I did not check it again but I am confident it will pass, since now LTFT easy to get to 5% on my usual daily route in the morning. The worst I got if stuck in traffic is 8.5%, never reach above 10% in any condition so far so I guess I can close that book now. Even after the tune LTFT stays on similar level.
Btw now I found a shop who do smoke test in Jakarta! So I dont need to bother you again if I need a smoke test I saw a mehcanic use it to find boost leak when I was waiting my car to be tuned.
