Upgrade audio options for poorly specced E250

Upgrade audio options for poorly specced E250
Good afternoon.
I've just bought but not yet collected a 2012 E250 Cdi Cabriolet without the "NAVI" button.
I'm told it has SatNav so I suspect its the basic one with just arrows and countdowns in the dash binnacle (MAP PILOT?)
All of the Android Auto upgrades seem to require that you already have COMMAND navigation.
Am I going to have to upgrade to command before I can upgrade to a Chinese Android Auto device or is there another way?

Model Year 2014 Comand can support Carplay and Android Auto ( meaning Command NTG5s1).
Even if your car is not 2014, you can retrofit the 5s1 ( not very easy but you can find here a lot of information or you can ask for).

The problem is that I can't find any information on how to retrofit COMMAND to a car that only has the NTG4 Audio 20 non-COMMAND
Could you point me to something that wight help?
