Headlight issues NEED HELP

Car basics

2 bulb design for both high and low. Both h7 bulbs
halogen bulbs not hid but does have projector housings.
Not sure it has canbus system but i think it does.
never diaconnected battery yet.

Ok so let's start out by saying all my headlights worked perfectly fine before a couple days ago. The owner before me decided to tint the lens which made the headlights suck so I decided to replace the lens with new ones. So basically removed front bumper and then headlight assemblies. I performed the lens replacement and decided to upgrade the low beams to hid while they where out.

Reinstalled everything and the hid low beams turn on fine but the high beams now won't turn on. The dash indicator light comes on saying they are on but nothing to the lights.

Now the fun part. If i unplug the high bulb from socket and test socket i have 12 volt power to socket but as soon as i plug ot back into light the system cuts the power going to the light. My dash tells me to check both L/R high beams. The bulbs work as I've tested them already. Why is the system cutting power when it senses a load?

To further test I unplugged the hid low beam lights and put regular bulbs back in. Weirdly only the driver side lights up now and the passenger side is doing same thing as high beams. It shows power when unplugged but cuts the power when bulb is plugged in sensing a load.

All plugs have power when unplugged. Currently only driver side will actually power on a light when plugged in though.

Unfamiliar with how the canbus system works on these and assuming I have it and that's what's causing the issues.

My hid system to my knowledge is not canbus ready but many comments from buyers said it worked fine in thier canbus system including other mercedes owners. But still having issues even when I have 4 standard halogen bulbs in place.

Going to try to disconnect battery now and try to reset the system and see if that does anything but wanted to post up in here for answers as I'm not too hopeful at this point that will work.

thank you

Well i figured it out lol.

For some reason the system didn't like the h7 bulbs I had originally for my low beams that where upgraded as replacements for the high beams. I put old bulbs in and they worked. I disconected the battery which also reset the passenger side low beam and got thst working again so all is right in the world now.
