Rear Bumper Distance Sensor 2016 E350 Sedan
I experienced a rear bumper strike and think the distance sensor is NG. If the car is in reverse with the E-brake on can this be verified by placing a hand in front of the sensor. The audible alarm should activate, correct?
It appears replacement is not difficult (plug'n'play). What is the correct p/n for this sensor? I have a W212 2016 E350 sport sedan and found a sensor p/n A212 542 00 18 but not sure if this is the correct p/n. Are the aftermarket new sensors Okay to use?
