Hello how are you all doing . I am driving a 2014 E250 bluetec sedan. I just ordered a rear shock kit from fcp euro. They say there is no dust boot/bump stop on this car. I have not removed a shock yet, but if you look through the wheel you can see a dust boot. Im pretty sure there is a bump stop as well. Can somebody tell me the part number for the dust boot and bump stop.

The shock kit I ordered from FCP EURO is 24194112 its supposed to fit, but they say no dust boot or bump stop. I would like to replace those components and order them today.

only the genuine Mercedes rear shocks come with the boot and bump stop. there's no part number for the Mercedes boot and bump stop either. So you can't buy it separately. For the Bilstein kit, i had to order this bump stop kit on https://www.ebay.com/itm/196707506405 it was from Latvia but shipping was about 10 days. My bump stop was completely destroyed and made this loud clunking noise. New shocks and bump stop are so quiet now!

 

Were the ebay parts any good? Will they last for the price? I am getting my parts ready for my C250 including the Bilstein B6's.

 

the bump stop felt pretty solid and durable. so far so good. part was made in Germany if that helps.

I've been dealing with some loose rear shock boots on my 2022 GLE 53, turns out it's just a matter of the clip not being seated properly, so you might want to double check that.
