Checking About Interchangeable Part Nr For Rear Diff
Hello everyone. Recently I took my old lady to a regular service at a local indy Euro and my mechanic said there is quite some metal shavings in the fluid as well as howling in the rear diff under load and might need replacement. Now, for the last part it can be possible I was half deaf as I hear nothing while driving. In any case, while waiting to schedule for a second opinion inspection at another Euro shop, I am going to look around just in case.
The part number that my mechanic gave me is A2123501414. However, I don't think I find a lot of result that matches directly with this part number. Typically, it is something else with a different part number, and then the vendor said the number is interchangeable. For example, a rear diff from a UK vendor with part number A2043505459 is listed as interchangeable:
(Now the "Car part number" being A2123501414 is strange because in one of the pictures, the sticker on it clearly said "2043505459".)
Which they also claim to be interchangeable with my car part A2123501414.
So my question is that if anyone has any access to detailed part catalog or repair manual, can you confirm if my part has any of these interchangeable number? Thank you.
