Multiple errors on dash, CAN issues?

Hi all,

I'm experiencing a weird issue on my W218 CLS 400. Reason I posted in this forum is because I know the car shares same base as the W212 so hopefully the answers will be relevant to the W218 as well.

The issue (see video below) is intermittently getting lots of lights and warning messages on the instrument cluster. When it happens the car drives normally, everything still works. However, sometimes there is issue with turning the car off, or selecting gear (instrument cluster doesn't show current selected gear) or other issue related to a switch which does not function. I assume it's because there is an issue with the CAN hence why the switches cannot send the command to the relevant module. I have a iCarSoft scanner and when I have previously scanned this I get many CAN communication issues, lots of modules are affected.

In the video below, the car is started and is stationary. I am not sure where to start to diagnose this issue but any help from your amazing members will be much appreciated. Many thanks!

Check for water intrusion somewhere on the left and right driver-passenger floor, where the CAN BUS junctions are located.

Its very close to the L & R doors.....example below :
