S212 trailer hitch
Hello MBWorld,
I have a 2011 E350 Wagon on which I would like to install a class I trailer hitch.
Curt use to make the 11189 for this car but it's been discontinued a while back.
I have searched in the US and Canada to find some old stock, with no success.
I know Stealth Hitches makes one that fit my car but it's considerably more expensive and complicated to install and will end up costing me over 2,000$ Cnd installed!
Curt is still making the 11001 for the sedan and the design is very similar.
Has anybody tried to modify the Curt 11001 to fit on a Wagon?

Another option is to have an RV/Welding company do their magic and custom-weld a receiver hitch on. I had this done about 20 years ago on my S211 when I lived in Houston at Smitty's RV/Welding.
