I have been informed by my friend working at MB sales that production will start in March. I am also interested but going to avoid first batches.

I have heard that initial choices will be E200 and E220d, with E350 to follow later. Can anyone confirm?

My lease is up pretty soon and I need to know when the new E will hit dealers. I'm hoping this summer, but any later I'll have to go a different direction.

In Europe, MB will make official release in Geneva Auto Show in March and production will follow up that. My initial plan was to trade in my C180 to get a E300 but still nothing other than E200,220d and 350d. So as the other engines haven't announced yet (most probably E300 will be base engine for US market), most probably late summer will make sense and early summer for initial models. Anyway going to stick with W205 for a while because prices are too expensive in Europe. 70k euros for a E200 doesn't make sense.

Thank you. You are always welcome to visit and be my guest. Its been a really long time since my last visit to castle but unfortunately its pedestrian only. The view is much better from inside. I am waiting for spring to do some drone footage to st hilarion castle which is another castle on top of mountain. You gave an idea to involve my car to some of the shootings.
