How quick is the E400 W213?
If you are wondering how quick the new E400 is going to be, watch this video and you need wonder no more.
E400 W213 accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (That's 0 to 62 mph)
For comparison purposes, the rear wheel drive twin-turbo E500 W212

Thanks for posting these vids. Looks like the 2017 W213 E400 is faster than the W212 E400. Here are the times shown in the videos:
E400 W213 accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (That's 0 to 62 mph) - 4.9 seconds.
For comparison purposes, the rear wheel drive twin-turbo E500 W212 - 5.0 seconds 1st attempt, 4.9 seconds 2nd attempt.
And the E400 W212 - 5.6 seconds

If the E400 is already this quick then it's safe to say that the E43 will be even quicker and have the lack of a non-AMG V8 version covered.
And this is what the E400 sounds like

Well 0-100 is quicker due to the shorter gearing and the faster shift times of the w213 9g-tronic in Sport+ compared to the w212. However, things get interesting beyond 100km/h!
Just take a look at the E350 Diesel in the W212. It is fast from 0-100km/h but to 200km/h it is just SLOW due to the lack of power! The same goes for the E400 vs E550 W212! From 0-100 it is very close and reaction / traction wins the "race". But from 100-200 the E400 is just so slow compared to the 550 (my racelogic performance box gives the E550 a 5 seconds advantage!)

Im driving an E400 and it performs well but it's not the power that I had in my 2013 CLS550. That 4.0L TT V8 is a great performing engine. That being said the E400 performs as well as the old NA E550. Turbos give power immediately without high RPM.
