Anyone waiting for the Estate / Stationwagon?

I popped into my local Mercedes dealer yesterday to enquire about the availability of the new E-class estate, and he informed me the 2 wheel drive version will be order able within the next few months, and the 4WD in September. I will have to go for the 4WD version due to the road conditions in winter here, which means I will likely be waiting for a delivery date of early 2017... not good for an impatient type like me with an increasing demand for more space (Growing family) and a rather full c-class

The W213 E-class is a good-looking car full of new tech and toys, but I still think the current W212 is a winner and a far better looking and classier design. And there's nothing classier than the W212 wagon!

I must admit, I prefer the curvier style of the C / S class so I welcome the prospective updates to the E class... as well as the improvement in technology features which are going to be a huge step

Perhaps not so in the MB line, but the RR and the RRS could be considered classier 'wagons'.

But your original point about the previous generation seems to be true for every change. I remember having a similar reaction when the W211 was released, and I thought I would never part with my W210; but then I had to replace it and ended up with a W211 which eventually grew on me. Then when the W212 was introduced, it was deja-vu.

With the W213, I can't get over the lack of a v6 or v8 option yet, so I'll have to wait...

I received a email from dealer from Mercedes zone representative. Orders for e 400 wagon can be taken by dealer in September with receipt of wagon in December.
