iOS Companion App/Mercedes Me website

Hello, I'm a new E300 (W213) owner. I have a couple of questions, and I was hoping you all could help. First, I've set up the MBrace iOS app, but I'd like to have access to the additional features of the Mercedes Companion app found in the iOS App Store. Does anyone know if the Companion app is compatible with the W213? I get stuck setting it up at the "Connect Bluetooth" screen (my phone is already connected to bluetooth in the car).

Second, I've registered for the Mercedes Me website, but when I get to the enter VIN screen, I get an error saying "The VIN you've entered does not match what’s in our system. Please try again, making sure it is the same number that is on your vehicle."

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am having problem with mercedes me as well. I can enter my vin number but after over a month I got a notice that it couldn't be verified and had to call. You might have to call mercedes as well and they can check the vin.

Same here. Seems when i enter the VIN it shows a 17 E300 but doesn't allow me to add. I created an account by model though.

Thank you, both for your replies. I called customer services and they recorded my VIN. They said it would take 24 hours to update Mercedes Me. I'll let you know what I find.

As you may have found out, you must call MB first. They'll activate the VIN before you can add the car to the app.

I added my new E300 with the Vin with no problem...Few days after lease all my info there including maintenance agreement and warranty info. Hopefully it doesn't disappear like some of you mentioned in your posts.
