solar tint sunroof/windshield
Need to get my E300 tinted and thinking about getting the windshield and sunroof mainly for keeping the heat out. Does the sunroof already have some solar tint on it? I think getting a 70-90% tint on the sunroof and windshield will do good at keeping cool and having the rest at 20-30% This is my first MB so not sure what's on there already.

+1 on windshield tint - went with Air 80 by llumar. Only issue with parking sticker messing it up a bit in the corner. I should have had them cut part of it out. Oh well.
Didn't bother with sunroof as I keep the cover closed.

I gotta start researching the best tint brand for the car. I have the pano roof and didn't really want it because it doesn't have a complete thick cover, and is basically a curtain which doesn't block the heat as much.
Got any pics of your tint?

Don't have the pics from two years ago handy. Of course you can't see it in the windshield I went with llumar ceramic 30 on the sides which is the legal min in FL. Windshield tint (even almost clear) is not legal without a prescription so I had to work directly with shop the dealer uses rather than through them (saved me some $ too).
If you search in the W212 forum you will find tint threads where the pano is discussed. Some have tinted with no issue and some have warned that adding tint to sunroofs that are inherently tinted could lead to cracking as too much heat absorption (or something like that).
