Is it still possible on the W213 to deactivate mbrace features (both connect and secure) in SDS by setting it to not present?

Not sure about the W213, but on the W212, US cars which were part of the European Delivery program had Euro firmware on the COMAND system when manufactured. This was supposed to be re-flashed at VPC, but wasn't always. Cars which still retained Euro firmware on the radios didn't have mBrace active.

I'm assuming it's probably a similar story for the W213.
