Yes, the dark green is lovely and very rare. Estates here in the US are very rare in any colour. I'm assuming the 50mpg is imperial which is larger than a US gallon. If you're getting 800 miles on a tank and divide that by the 22 gallon US tank then that equates to 36.5mpg US which is very impressive indeed. In late Sep I drove my E450 estate to Toronto Canada from Austin TX (1650 miles) and I was getting 510 miles to a tank. I was also moving when not in cities doing between 80mph and 90mph. I was seeing around 25mpg US overall.
Someone from Switzerland just posted their E450 estate and I was surprised to see that the E450 was available in the EU. I thought it was only the 220d models. Happy motoring with the new car.
To be fair I did actually find one that colour with the same spec and only slightly higher mileage, but when I looked on google street view at the garage selling it I rapidly changed my mind. Not handing over my cash to a company working out of a portacabin...
The modern diesels just sip fuel over here, definitely helped by me being an old git and just sitting on the cruise control at 70mph because I can't be bothered dealing with a speeding fine. If I could do the whole tank like that on your road trip to Toronto urban driving it would definitely get over 900. Went there on holiday a couple of years ago before the pandemic hit and it was an awesome place!
I think the tank is about 66 litres which is 14.5 imperial gallons, and at current fuel prices here it's costing about $133 to fill it up
The model numbers probably don't equate to the same ones you have over there - I don't think we have the E450 petrol in the UK, but we do have the E400d. The GLC 300 petrol is a 2.0 Turbo so it's all a bit random really...

When I was in Canada, premium (93 octane) was $1.36 Can a litre and it cost me $112 Can to fill up. Here in Texas it is typically half that to fill up in USD.
My wife typically likes boxy SUV's and is starting to look at a GLB 250. She barely drives 5K miles a year, even before COVID as we usually go out in my car. Here in the US most of the SUV's under the GLE are either 250 or 300 designations and both of those are 2.0 turbo four cylinder engines.
Our 'new' to us E450 wagon. CPO 2019 with just 3,000 miles on it. Iridium Silver Metallic, same color as our E450 cabriolet. This is our third E class wagon, so you might call us fans!
2020 S560 Sedan, 2019 SL450, 2019 E450 Luxury Trim Wagon, '24 BMW I7 on order...
I guess it’s about time that I posted some photos of our truly beloved 2019 E450 Wagon in the picture thread. Should anyone be interested, the story of how I stumbled upon this reasonably rare vehicle can be read here: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...t-believe.html
My wife—who said she would never drive a station wagon—STOLD this wagon from me, after driving it. This is one of “THE” best driving, best riding, best handling, most comfortable vehicles I have ever owned. I cannot say enough about this lovely wagon, I LOVE IT!

Exquisite vehicle, and your wagon quest was one of the drivers for my own, now successful, quest. If only I had kept the SL550! Drive well.
Just a quick update regarding the benefits of buying a new vehicle and stipulating EXACTLY the benefits of getting the specific features that we want, the options, and of course the powertrain. that we want.
Mercedes-Benz UK knows best, they KNOW exactly what the UK owner wants and if we want to own an estate car, then these 'educated' folk know best and we have but one choice unless we want the beast of an AMG powered vehicle. The estate car has to be powered by a diesel-powered engine! A brilliant, clean, and very economical powertrain. BUT....TOTALLY unusable for the type of driving our vehicle will experience??? The diesel particulate filter would very quickly clog up and this would then involve an expensive repair. Strangely enough, I believe that we the owner of the vehicle know best!! We KNOW the style of driving, the distances we drive and we know what engine is best suited to meet those requirements.
Putting our money where our mouth is.
When we took delivery of this 2ltr petrol hybrid in JUNE 2021, we filled the tank with petrol. Yup a 2ltr petrol hybrid that achieves 0 - 62.5mph in just FIVE seconds?? So not only does this beast take-off like a scolded cat..... The vehicle drives with the economy of a push-bike! We took delivery in June 2021, my wife did not 'over-fill the tank, the computer tells us it was 91% full. We are now half-way through MARCH 2022. SAME tank of fuel but it is now just 83% full?? Yup we have not re-fuelled our car and no idea how long this fuel will last. Will the fuel become unusable?? No idea but we could not have purchased this vehicle in the UK because Mercedes-Benz UK ASSume they know best. When these 'clever' people 'ASSUME' then my thoughts are that only the first three letters of the word describe their competence or should it be incompetence??.
I love looking at these gallery pictures as it helps folks to look at features they like, or dislike. 'I want that feature' or 'I don't want that feature' The three-pointed star on the bonnet is a prime example. I wanted that iconic item which is such a brand feature. I wanted it, I got it
In this age where petrol is getting to be mega expensive, our car recharges the hybrid system by using the free electricity generated by our solar panels I just hope the petrol in the tank gets agitated enough when the boss drives this vehicle on the highways and bye-ways of South Devon?? Note the three-pointed star
Here's my new 2022 AT. Went with the Graphite Grey and Night Package. I wasn't a fan of the new AT design when it was first released, but I've grown to love it already. The air suspension is a neat trick. The dual screens are also useful (I had the old analog driver's screen on my 2019 E450). The rest of the interior is very similar to my old 2019 E450 and more of an evolution. I'm glad MB still has physical buttons and switches for the volume, climate, etc. Haven't really pushed the engine yet but the drive is smooth. Overall, I'm very pleased with my new AT.
Wouldn't the purple light be distracting at night? Had a car with foot space lights, and was a beast on long trips. However this is almost a copy of my car. with only a few options different..
