Crackling noise from trim

I have started noticing a crackling noise from behind the dashboard trims. Not very frequent, around 5-10 occurrences over an hour. This is more noticeable when the AC is cooling the interiors on a hot day.

Anyone else experiencing this? What could be the issue.

noises

I noticed a couple of noises from door trim. I can start the day by pushing in on wood. it makes the noise I hear. That stops it...until a couple hours later. again.

I've already notified my service rep. The homelink needs software update, since it wont retain programing..

I certain there will be bugs and issues that will need to be addressed.

My new (at the time) C300 went in TEN times to sort out dash noises. The tend to look for the easiest solution. "oh there were two wires rubbing together", a mile away, there it is again....

It will get sorted out.

The audio stopped working, (E300) radio, media, phone, etc. I "rebooted" the car (turned it off, restarted) audio was fine.

It did it again coming from media connection to radio. same thing.

We'll get it all sorted out.

Thanks for your reply. My worry is that I take the car into service and the problem does not show up when they inspect it. How good are they at taking your word for it. I suspect it varies from service shop to service shop.
