my car was produced in october '16 (I took deliver last week) and it has the cornering lights function but I do not see active curve of the lights swiveling when turning. I also do not see anything in the light settings menu

[QUOTE=Proeliator2001;6981169]Do your lights do this when turning them on? If not then you don't have Multibeam and may not have cornering lights

My lights do this when turned on and the cornering lights work as well, but the beam following curve action is not as aggressive as on my W212. I am still waiting for a software update to fully enable the lights. What country are you located?

I'm in the UK. That wasn't my video just one I found. In UK the Multibeam lights only come with premium plus pack (we only have two different packs, not three like US market and the lights are on top one. Our options within each pack also differ to yours).
The curve following features are subtle, sometimes they move before steering wheel as sat nav indicates to system a bend is coming up, other times I notice the illumination move across a couple blocks more when I steer. It's not strong but doesn't need to be, works well to my eyes. Complex junction illumination is much stronger effect and it's excellent. When approaching roundabouts (circle ways in your parlance?) and T junctions the side lighting become significantly stronger and more widespread. When leaving that area the extra lighting slowly fades down so it's hard to spot it "turning off". We also get full main beam assist where it blanks out incoming traffic in dark blocks. Works well but I think it's a bit slow to react so leads to oncoming traffic flashing. Great on straight roads but fooled more often on bending roads with height changes especially challenging for it. Best lights I've ever had though!

With the rain here, I am disappointed that the headlights do not turn on after the auto wipers swiper a few times. My old W204 automatically turned on the headlights even in the brightest day when the wipers activated. Its the law in California to turn on lights when its raining.

Active curve is so subtle, are you all sure you're not just expecting more to happen then actually does happen with a fully functioning system? Do you get the complex junction lights come on (throwing light wider at junctions)?

I didn't think US market get the auto high beam. They are unbelievably noticeable! Amazing to watch, that is one thing the lights do which can't be missed. I think the link to sat nav is only on the upgraded COMAND online, the 12 inch screen sat nav not Garmin 8 inch if you even get that over the pond. Not sure though.

We have the full 12 inch standard over here, no 8 inch garmin unit. Our lawmakers are the issue here with the full multi beam experience. We have auto high beams but their dimming functions are reduced. I have yet to figure out how they work since I dont see them activating

I've got wide-screen cockpit display so icon locations may differ if you don't but when active headlights are on in the bottom left I get green headlight icon. When the auto main beams come on I get a blue light icon. It never goes blue/activates when there are Street lights around or, if memory serves me, I'm doing 30 or less on country road. But the full fat version is highly noticeable.
I think our law makers worry about different things. We don't get remote parking (yet) nor automatic lane change. We also don't get NFC entry or wireless charging for the phone (which annoyed the hell out of me). No idea why.

Just got my car back from dealer after some problems including missing funcitonality of Intelligent Headlights.
The cornering light is know working and very visible when going into slow corners. The work order says "Perform SCN Coding of both lights then go to teach in & perform intelligent light teach in Activation"

There can't possibly be main beam cornering effects since the lamps themselves don't swivel and on main beam it's already lighting up as much of the world as it possibly can. With main beam on I don't see any change to light distribution except for the system blanking out other road users and reflective signs. Cornering/junction lights only work when on low beam.

My car was in the shop this week for couple of issues and told them about opening PTSS claim with Mercedes about the active lighting.. They did it and mine now working after the software fix. This forum continues to be the place to turn to for quality assistance.

Active curve fixed
Just got back from a service A and they took care of the coding that had not been done dirung production for full active curve illumination as advertised. They also replaced wipers and replaced defective subwoofer in the center dash. All good to go.
