Hands Free Calling - iPhone
Recently moved back to Mercedes after a long break. Something I've discovered that has been different than all of my other cars...when I make a call via bluetooth with my iPhone by saying the name of my contact like "Call John mobile" Siri then confirms making the call to John mobile...and then there's silence until he picks up? In other words, no rings are audible once the call is enacted. Happens no matter who I call so doesn't appear to be coincidence they pick up on the first ring. Is this standard with everyone? Although I don't really like the ring sound, it at least lets you know the call is being and not being in a hold state that I have seen sometimes when a signal is weak. Is not hearing the rings common practice with this vehicle? Not a huge issue...just inquiring.
